Hannah Ellis is a rising American country music star. Born on August 14, 1990, in Kentucky, United States, Ellis found her calling as a musician at a young age and performed opening acts for major artists including Lee Brice and Jake Owen. To pursue her musical inspirations she auditioned for season eight of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in 2015 but couldn’t make it. Ellis, however, was successful in securing a publishing deal with Word Music/Wordcountry in the same year and released her song ‘Officer Down’ in the following year. The song was a tribute to her fallen Officer Daniel N. Ellis and garnered her well-earned national attention. Rolling Stone named her one of their ‘Artists To Watch’ in 2018. She released her self-titled EP with the singles ‘ILYSoWhat’ and ‘Home and a Hometown’ streaming for more than 1 million times on Spotify. Her single ‘You Were Never Gone’ was also featured on MTV’s TV series Teen Wolf.
