Hanson Bio
Hanson was the ultimate boy band in a decade that went too far with its boy bands. Brothers three, they are Isaac, Taylor and Zac. Their parents first shoved them onstage in 1992 at the Mayfest Arts Festival in Tulsa, where they performed their a cappella act. A few years later saw the onslaught of the single “MMMBop” (1997), and even at this time Isaac was sixteen, Taylor was thirteen, and Zac was just eleven.
For three years, Hanson’s star shone bright before the century turned. While the 1997 album was certified multi-platinum all around the globe, by the 21st century they were barely charting anywhere. They have continued to milk their hit by staying together and touring college campuses.
