Hardwell Bio
Hardwell is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He was born Robbert van de Corput, on the 7th of January, 1988, in Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands. His interest in music started at a young age and he learned to play several instruments such as piano during his childhood. He began composing his first electronic music songs by age 12 and in his teenage years he began participating in several music contests, as well as producing and mixing records. At age 14, he was offered a deal with Klubbheads label. He made his first official release a few weeks later, breaking the electro house scene with his record “Bubbling Beats”. In 2010 he founded his own record label Revealed Recordings. Following that release, he toured across the Netherlands. In 2013, he was named world number one DJ on DJ Mag and again in the following year. He has performed at major electronic music festivals such as Sunburn, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland.
