Hari Nef Bio
Hari Nef is an American actress, model, and writer born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 21, 1992. Nef is the first openly transgender woman to appear on the cover of a major British magazine. In 2015 she was signed with IMG Models, making her the first openly transgender model signed to the agency. That same year she made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week walking for Hood By Air and Eckhaus Latta. She made her film debut in 2013 in the movie Hellaware and has since had roles in the films Mapplethorpe and Assassination Nation. She has also had roles in the short films She Told Me She Was Dead, Self Aware, Family Tree, Crush, and A-Z of Hair. In 2015 she made her debut on television in the show Transparent and has also had roles on the shows Love Advent, You, and Camping.
