Harry Elfont Bio

Harry Elfont was born on April 5, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a writer and director who attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts during the 1980’s alongside his future creative partner, Deborah Kaplan. He made his film industry debut with the 1998 movie Can’t Hardly Wait. He has 20 credits to his name on IMDB, with his most famous entry being his 2010 film Leap Year, which grossed nearly $26,000,000 in the United States. In addition to screenwriting and film direction, he also has 4 other credits attributed to him as an actor and producer. In 1998, he was inducted into the Lower Moreland HS Hall of Fame for his success in Hollywood.  In 2005, his movie Surviving Christmas (2004) was nominated for the “Worst Screenplay” Razzie Award.
