Hayley Orrantia was born on 21st February 1994 in Arlington, Texas, United States. She celebrates her birthday on 21st February every year.
She went to public school from elementary to middle school in Flower Mound, Texas. She enrolled in a musical theatre program in high school, giving her first taste of performing. After that, she elected to stay at home and continue her music and performing skills.
Orrantia started singing professionally at age 12. She composed her first song at 13 and released her first cover song EP by age 14. Orrantia worked with songwriter Jamie Houston who was known for writing hits for Disney High School Musical films.
In 2010, Orrantia recorded Houston's "Magic of a Friend" on Disney's Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure soundtrack. Later that year, she sang backup vocals for Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus.
Her first acting assignment came in a Sprint commercial when she was 17 years old. Then, Cooper and the Castle Hills Gang, an indie film that had its world debut at the Dallas International Film Festival, premiered her.
Hayley was a part of Lakoda Rayne, a country-pop female group founded by Paula Abdul during the inaugural season of The X Factor. Her first solo album, "Love Sick," was released in 2015, and in May of this year, she dropped her debut EP, The Way Out.
