True to its name, Heartland, an American country music band based in Huntsville, Alabama was formed by members who were born and raised in towns considered the heartland of the United States of America. The music band, famous for their track “I Loved Her First”, comprises lead singer Jason Albert, drummer Todd Anderson, Keith West on bass, fiddler Chuck Crawford and guitarists Craig Anderson and Mike Myerson. In 2006, Lofton Creek Records signed them for their hit debut single and album “I Loved Her First”. Heartland gave country music its most popular wedding anthem, and the single dominated Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart by peaking at no 1, with the record reaching no 3 on Billboard’s Top Country Album chart. Mike Myerson left the group in 2009, and they added Chad Austin to the ensemble.
