The renowned Swedish band Hearts & Colors began as an indie folk duet in 2013. When electronic DJ and producer Andrelli remixed the band's song "Lighthouse" in late 2016, the result went viral. The trio continued to produce singles throughout the next several years, gaining success on streaming services with songs like "For the Love" from 2017 and "L.A. on a Saturday Night" from 2018. They were moving forward in a lusher, more electronic pop sound. Before that, in 2014, pals Philip Tillström and Nicolai Kjellberg started off by singing acoustic renditions of well-known songs by musicians like One Direction, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars and uploading them to music-sharing websites. Following Andrelli's downtempo dance remix of the song, "Lighthouse," which was initially an acoustic piano ballad included on their 2016 EP Prologue, became a charting smash in Sweden, Norway, and other regions of Europe.
