Helmet Bio
Hailing from New York City, New York, Helmet is an American band that performs alternative metal music. The makeup of the band has changed over the years, but it currently consists of Page Hamilton on vocals and guitar, Kyle Stevenson on drums and vocals, Dan Beeman on guitar and vocals, and Dave Case on bass guitar and vocals.
Helmet was formed in 1989, and the following year, they released their debut studio project Strap It On. They disbanded in 1998, but they eventually regrouped in 2004 when they released their fifth album Size Matters. Their discography includes the hit singles Unsung, In The Meantime, Just Another Victim, Milktoast, Give It, and the albums Meantime, Seeing Eye Dog, and Monochrome.
Helmet’s music was featured in the official soundtrack of the film The Crow which also featured Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Pantera, Violent Femmes, and For Love Not Lisa.
