Henry Alfred Bugalho, better known by his stage name Henry Bugalho, was born in Brazil on October 2, 1980. He is also a writer, translator, and philosopher. Bugalho founded his YouTube channel in 2006 and is also a member of the Royal Society of Arts. Henry voiced his disapproval of the right-wing author Olavo de Carvalho and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in 2018. About 593,000 people have subscribed to his YouTube account. His channel immediately began to expand after the 2018 Brazilian presidential election. He often engages in Brazilian politics, mostly to criticise Jair Bolsonaro's presidency. His channel is linked to a new generation of left-leaning or liberal YouTubers and channels from Brazil, including Sabrina Fernandes, Felipe Neto, Lilia Schwarcz, Meteoro Brasil, Caue Moura, Pirula, and Jones Manoel.
