Henry Holland Bio

Henry Holland is a fashion designer who was born in Manchester, England, on May 26, 1983. Before starting his career as a designer, he worked as a fashion editor and stylist for publications like Sneak and Bliss while attending the London College of Printing. He became well-known in 2006 for his Fashion Groupies T-shirt designs, which included provocative, rhymed-with lines like "Cause Me Pain, Hedi Slimane" and "I'll Tell You Who's Boss Kate Moss." A T-shirt designed by Holland as a tribute to a fellow designer with the phrase "Get Yer Freak On Giles Deacon" garnered attention from the fashion industry. His own label, House of Holland, was established in 2008 as a result of the popularity in the fashion world. It was rapidly stocked by Harrods, Barneys in New York, Urban Outfitters, and other stores. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Lily Allen, Jaime Winstone, and Agyness Deyn also became fans. He converted an ice cream van into a travelling pop-up shop in July 2013 to commemorate the opening of House of Holland's online store and sell a limited-edition selection of the brand's creations.
