Henry Ian Cusick is a Scottish-Peruvian actor. He was born on the 17th of April in Trujillo, Peru. Cusick began his career as a theater actor. His first roles on stage included Dorian Gray in “The Picture of Dorian Gray” based on the novel by Oscar Wilde, Hamlet in “The Marovitz Hamlet” and many others. In 1994, his performance as Torquato Tasso in the Edinburgh International Festival, earned him a nomination at the 1995 Ian Charleson Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Young Actor. Cusick started to play also in TV shows and movies, he appeared in two episodes of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and he was also in “Scandal”. He is mostly known for his role as Desmond Hume in the ABC Tv show “Lost”, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
