The brothers Curtis, Brad Rempel, and Bryan Rempel started the band High Valley in high school in a remote corner of Alberta, Canada. The three released their first album Broken Borders on January 1, 2007, which included the single “Back to You.” Open Road Records noticed the group and helped them release the albums High Valley in 2010, Love Is a Long Road and County Line in 2014. The albums won the GMA Canada Covenant Award for Album of the Year (2007, 2011, 2012). In 2015, Curtis and Brad moved away to Nashville, Tennessee after signing a deal with Atlantic Records. Not long after, their single “Make You Mine” was released debuting at number 56 on the US Country charts.
