Hilary Knight was born Hilary Atwood Knight in Palo Alto, California, the USA on July 12, 1989. She won two silver Olympic medals, and she won the IIHF World Champion seven times. She practiced with the NHL team as the first non-goalie female skater. She joined Team USA in 2006, and she was also the WCHA Player of the Year in 2009. She won the silver medal in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. She helped Team USA bag a silver medal in 2014 during the Sochi Olympics. Bob Allen named her the Player of the Year for Women’s Hockey. During the IIHF World Championship, she helped team USA earn gold medals from 2015 to 2017. She also helped the US Women’s National Team in the fight for equal pay back in 2017.
