Himesh Jitendra Patel is a British actor and writer born on the 13th October, 1990 in Cambridgeshire, England. As a child, he started playing in a local theater group, the Key Youth Theater in Peterborough. Later, he took part in The Youngs Actor’s Company in Cambridge. In 2007, Patel got his first role in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders”. In 2011, Patel and Ferdandes won the Inside Soap Award for Best Wedding. He also appeared in “EastEnders: E20”. His last appearance on the show was in April 2016. In 2010 Himesh was nominated for Inside Soap Awards for his role in “EastEnders” in the category of Funniest Performance. Payel has also filmed several short movies, among which “Two Dosas” directed in 2014 by Sarmad Masud was the most awarded. It was the winner of the Best Comedy award at the Aspen Film Festival, as well as Best Short Comedy at the London Short Film Festival. Patel starred in the movie “Yesterday” in 2019, directed by Danny Boyle.
