Hina Khan, an Indian television actress, was born in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India, on October 2, 1987. The well-known popularity of the actress soared after landing the part of Akshara in the Star Plus daily opera Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She received the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Best Actress - Popular for her performance in the programme. During 2018 and 2019, Hina played the character of Kamolika in the daily soap Kasautii Zindagi ki. She also had an appearance in Nagin Season 5, where she portrayed Nageshvari. She participated in a reality TV competition called Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (2017) apart from fictitious programmes, where she finished as the runner up. As a celebrity participant on Bigg Boss Season 11, she took part and finished second. She was regarded as one of the highest-paid Indian television actresses in 2015 and 2016, and she was included in Eastern Eye's list of the 50th Sexiest Asian Women.
