HoneyHoney Bio
HoneyHoney is an American alternative folk group based in Los Angeles. They were formed in 2006 by Benjamin Jaffe (guitar/vocals) and Suzanne Santo (Vocals, Banjo, Violin) who met at a costume party. Santo had had a background in musical theatre while Jaffe began playing guitar in college. They count Randy Newman, Paul Simon, Brian Wilson, John Lennon, and Django Reinhardt as influences of theirs. In 2007 they signed a recording deal with Ironworks records and released the EP Loose Boots in 2008. Also in 2008, they released their debut full-length studio album, First Rodeo. Their music video for single “Little Toy Gun” featured actor Kiefer Sutherland.
In 2011, they released their second studio album, Billy Jack, on their own honeyhoney Records/Lost Highway label. It became the #15 Billboard Folk album and the #17 Top Heatseekers. Their album III debuted in 2015 through Rounder Records.
