Horatio Sanz is a Chilean-born American actor who was born on June 4, 1969, in Santiago. He was raised in Chicago, where he became one of the Upright Citizen Brigade’s founding members and performed with Chicago’s Second City comedy troupe. Sanz was featured on “Saturday Night Live” in 1998 and became a cast member after his first season and continued the show performing sketch comedies until 2011. On the film field, he started playing minor roles in 1994, and got his big break in 2003, when he landed the starring role of Nick Ragoni in 2002 movie “Boat Trip”, alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. and Vivica A. Fox. After “SNL”, he landed a role in “In the Motherhood”, a movie that earned Sanz a nomination for an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. He also appeared in “Bachelorette” and “Year One”.
