Hot Mulligan is an American punk outfit formed in Lansing, Michigan in 2014 by vocalists Tades Sanville and Chris Freeman. Hot Mulligan is known for buoyant pop-punk with an emo earnestness inspired by bands like Taking Back Sunday, the Wonder Years, Motion City Soundtrack, and Tigers Jaw.
The initial line-up featured additional band members including guitarist and bassist Brett Annelin (who played on their debut EP, Fenton), and Dolan Bowie, Logan Hayward, and Fin Svoboda—who joined the fray for sophomore EP Honest & Cunning.
In 2015, Hot Mulligan released two EPs titled Fenton and Honest & Cunning through the Michigan based label called Save Your Generation Records. After signing to No Sleep Records in 2017, Hot Mulligan re-released an EP titled Opportunities. In 2018, the band released their debut full-length album titled Pilot on No Sleep Records. In 2020, they released their second album, You'll Be Fine, also on No Sleep.
