Hoxton Whores Bio

The duo Hoxton Whores began creating music together in the late 1980s, and is comprised of DJ/producers Gary Dedman and Kevin Andrews. They have remixed a handful of material throughout their career, and a few years after forming their duo, they founded Essential Direct, Ltd., a distribution company through which they could release their music. Hoxton Whores would then release popular house music, and their tracks have been recognized by DJ Pete Tong, who featured three of their tracks on his Essential compilations. They were later granted residencies at Pacha and at the Cross, two famous night clubs in London. The duo released their debut album The Story So Far … in early 2007, which prompted their very successful world tours to promote their original music and remixes.
