Hulk Hogan Bio
Hulk Hogan was born Terry Gene Bollea in Augusta, Georgia on August 11, 1953. Vince McMahon Sr., the owner of the World Wrestling Federation, discovered him in 1979 and he took the stage name, Hulk Hogan.
He won against a match with Andre, the Giant in 1980. He received the WWF championship belt when he defeated Iron Sheik in 1984. He became the six-time champion for the WWF/E and World Championship Wrestling, making him a 12-time world champion.
Following his tremendous success, he went on to star in movies. He appeared in No Holds Barred (1989), Mr. Nanny (1993), and Santa with Muscles (1996). He made his wrestling comeback in 1996 as Hollywood Hogan. He joined the WCW’s New World Order and paired with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
