Hunter Schafer Bio
Hunter Schafer is an American actress, model, and transgender rights activist born in 1999 in Raleigh. She first gained notoriety in 2016 by advocating against a discriminatory law in North Carolina. Schafer studied Visual Arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Her model brand portfolio includes high-fashion icons like Dior, Rick Owens, Helmut Lang, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Versus Versace, Emilio Pucci, among others. She has been named “21 Under 21” by Teen Vogue, a nomination that earned Schafer an interview with Hillary Clinton. In 2019 she made her acting debut by joining the cast of HBO’s “Euphoria” with a leading role based on her experience, collaborating closely with the show’s creator Sam Levinson.
