American track and field athlete Hunter Woodhall was born in Utah, United States, on February 17, 1999. He made his debut on the international stage in 2015, winning a silver and a bronze medal at the IPC Athletics World Championships. Subsequently, he went on to win a bronze and a silver medal in the Summer Paralympics in 2016. After completing his education at Syracuse High School, he made history by being the first double amputee to be awarded a scholarship to a school in the NCAA's Division I. He was a member of the United States team that competed in the World Para Athletics Championships in London in 2017. The track and field events that the paralympic athlete is recognised for participating in are the 200 metres and the 400 metres.
