Ian Chen is an actor born on September 7, 2006, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He appeared in an episode of Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family. In 2017, he was in Disney Channel Stars' DuckTales Theme Song. Ian has worked alongside Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Asher Angel, and Jack Dylan Grazer.
Ian starred as Henry in Dr. Ken. From 2015 to 2020, he was Evan Huang in ABC's Fresh Off the Boat, produced by 20th Century Fox Television. The series won him Best Young Ensemble Cast - Television Series and Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Television Series at the 2016 Young Artist Awards.
His first feature film role was in 2019 as Eugene Choi in Warner Brothers' Shazam! He reprised his role in the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods. He was one of Hollywood's Top 30 Stars Under Age 18 by The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 and 2019. Ian also starred in Fancy Nancy, Wish Dragon, The Rocketeer, and A Dog's Journey.
