Ian Hecox Bio
Ian Hecox is an American YouTuber, social media influencer, and actor born in California on November 30, 1987. He is best known for being the co-founder of the comedy YouTube group Smosh. Hexox and the other founder of Smosh, Anthony Padilla met in sixth grade. They started their comedy career posting videos on their personal website smosh.com. In 2005 they started their YouTube channel Smosh. The channel has amassed a massive following of 24 million subscribers with over 8.6 billion total video views. Since 2005 the Smosh brand has expanded to several other channels including a Spanish channel, gaming channel, and variety channel. Three different times Smosh became the most subscribed YouTube channel. Hecox also has a large following on his personal social media accounts with 1.7 million followers on Instagram, 1.8 million followers on Twitter, and 1.6 million followers on Facebook.
