Ian Wright is an English former professional footballer and television and radio personality. He is currently a studio pundit for BBC Sport, ITV Sport, and BT Sport. Wright played for the football teams Greenwich Borough, Crystal Palace, Arsenal, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, Celtic, and Burnley. He also played for the English national team from 1991 to 1998. In 2000 Wright retired from professional football. After retiring from football, Wright became a guest host on Top of the Pops and has since been on the shows Friday Night’s All Wright, I’d Do Anything, The National Lottery Wright Ticket, What Kids Really Think, They Think It’s All Over, Wright Across America, Live From Studio Five, Celebrity Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, and others. Wright was also a host on the radio shows Talksport, Rock ’N’ Roll Football, and 606. In 1996 he published his autobiography titled Mr. Wright. In 2007 he was appointed Director of football Strategy of Isthmian League Team, Ashford Town and in 2012 he was named part-time first team coach at Milton Keynes Dons.
