Ibrahim Maalouf is a French-Lebanese jazz trumpeter as well as a jazz composer. He was born in Beirut on November 5, 1980. Since more than 15 years ago, his work has been recognised all around the globe for successfully combining different genres. Over the course of his career, he has visited over 40 countries all over the globe and performed in some of the most prominent venues. He was discovered by the famed producer Quincy Jones, and when the two of them met, Ibrahim became one of the musicians that the American producer Quincy Jones frequently supports via his company, Quincy Jones Productions. In the year 2020, he released an album called "40 MELODIES," which was a one-of-a-kind work that featured a variety of notable musicians as guests, including Sting, Kronos Quartet, Marcus Miller, Jon Batiste, Alfredo Rodriguez, Richard Bona, Matthieu Chedid, Trilok Gurtu, Hüsnü Senlendirici, Arturo Sandoval, and many more.
