Born in 1958, Tracy Lauren Marrow is better known by his stage name Ice-T. An American rapper, musician, songwriter, actor, record producer and author he was born in New Jersey.
At the age of seventeen Marrow joined the army, during this time he began rapping casually. Deciding to stay away from the gang life after his time in the army, he was soon signed with Saturn Records and his first single, Gold Wind Madness became an underground hit. With eight studio albums and a ninth just released, his career has been long and successful. As an actor her has worked in television shows such as Fame, Law & Order and Chicago PD. With producer credits on many films and television shows he has four biographies and fourteen award nominations to his name.
