Iker Casillas is a retired football player who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently a football commentator. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers of all time. Born on 20th May 1981 in Mostoles, Spain, Casillas started his career with the Real Madrid youth setup in 1990. After playing for the different youth levels, he joined the Real Madrid senior team in 1999. He went on to make 510 appearances for Real Madrid from 1999 to 2015.
During his time with Real Madrid, he won three UEFA Champions Leagues with the Spanish club. In July 2015, he joined Porto on a two-year deal. In August 2020, Casillas retired from professional football. He played from for the various youth levels of Spain until 2000, was he was called to the senior setup. He went on to make 167 appearances for his national team.
