Iman Vellani is an actress born on August 12, 2002, in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. She came into the limelight for portraying Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the Marvel Studios and Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel. The role earned her nominations for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series - Streaming Series and Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Streaming Series at the 2022 Saturn Awards.
Iman has starred opposite Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur. In 2022, she appeared in Marvel Studios: Assembled and A Fan's Guide to Ms. Marvel. She will reprise her role in the 2023 film The Marvels, a sequel to Captain Marvel. Iman will voice her animated character for the fifth episode of What If...?
