Indi Cowie, better known by her birth name, Indi Armstrong Cowie, is a well-known freestyle soccer player who was born on September 24, 1994 in the United States. She is of Scottish and American ancestry. American professional soccer freestyler who is well renowned for being the first woman to complete a triple revolution. In order to accomplish this feat, she had to kick a soccer ball into the air and then spin her foot around the ball three times while preventing it from touching the ground. As a result of a knee injury that forced her to resign from playing collegiate soccer, she began working as an assistant coach for Anson Dorrance with the North Carolina Tar Heels. In the past, Cowie competed for the club Celtic in the Scottish Women's Premier League, where she played either in the midfield or up forward. She also earned three appearances for the Scotland women's national under-17 football team.
