Integrity Bio

Hardcore punk band, Integrity, was founded in 1989 and hails from Cleveland, Ohio. Those Who Fear Tomorrow (Dutch East, 1991), Systems Overload (Victory, 1995), possibly their most visceral works, Humanity Is the Devil (1996), and Seasons in the Size of Days (1997) quickly established the group, which is made up of vocalist Dwid and guitarist Aaron Melnick, as one of the nation's leading straightedge hardcore bands. The group's first album, Those Who Fear Tomorrow, was released in 1991. Prior to that, the majority of their recordings were for singles and compilations. Systems Overload, a recording for the Victory label that would distribute the most of the band's recordings for the rest of the '90s, marked their official comeback in 1995. Dwid's theological concerns took centre stage in virtually concept-album style on albums like 1996's Humanity Is the Devil and 1997's Seasons in the Size of Days. These albums also helped Integrity's fan base expand beyond the hardcore devout into heavy metal circles. On its own Holy Terror label, the band released the rarities compilation Taste of Every Sin in 1997.
