Isaac Thompson Carree III was born on April 28, 1973 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He got his start by singing Wave It Away in the New Life Community Choir. He joined the group Men of Standard in 1995, which has received several spots on Billboard’s Gospel Albums Chart.
Carree teamed up with Sovereign Agency and released his album Uncommon Me in 2011. This landed him on several charts, most notably number one on the Gospel Albums chart. He also won a Stellar Award for this album. He released a subsequent album in 2013 titled Reset, which also topped the Gospel Albums chart. He has not released any music in several years, possibly due to the fact that he has been focused on being a father.
