Ivonne Coll Mendoza is a Puerto Rican Actress, producer, director, and former pageant contestant best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, on June 18, 1947. After having a successful career in pageantry, fashion modeling, and theatre acting, Ivonne began her screen acting career in 1974 when she starred in the crime-drama film The Godfather: Part II. She has since had a successful career that spans decades and includes dozens of films and television series. Ivonne has been a regular on the TV series Days of Our Live, The Bold and the Beautiful, DEA, Teen Wolf, Switched at Birth, and Fancy Nancy, but she is best known for starring in the comedy series Jane the Virgin alongside Gina Rodriguez, Andrea Navedo, Justin Baldoni, and Yael Grobglas. Her filmography includes Instinct, The Godfather: Part II, Lean on Me, The Pest, Splinter, and The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca.
