Javid David Alvarez Fernandez was born on 13 December 1983 in Puerto Rico. This reggaeton singer-songwriter is known as J Alvarez and has been singing since he was 12 years old. His genre is Latin with styles Latin Freestyle, Reggaeton, and Latin Pop.
He released his first album El Dueño Del Sistema in 2009, and 12 more albums and several singles. J Alvarez became famous with his hit single La Pregunta in 2011. Otro Nivel de Musica Reloaded was nominated for Best Urban Music Album in 2012 at the Latin Grammy Awards as well as three Premio Nuestro Awards in 2013.
