Jaani Bio
Rajiv Kumar, widely known as Jaani, is a songwriter and music composer born in Gidderbaha, Punjab, India, on May 25, 1989. He has written for several artists, including Harrdy Sandhu, Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk, Badshah, Afsana Khan, Gippy Grewal, Sukh-E, and Jassie Gill. His music has been featured in films like Qismat, Mann Bharrya, and Hath Chumme.
Jaani released his debut single, Sant Sipahi, in 2012. His work on Shershaah has earned him numerous awards, including the International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Music Direction, the Filmfare Award for Best Music Album, and the Mirchi Music Award for Album of the Year.
Jaani is the co-founder of the label Desi Melodies, behind hit singles like Filhaal, Titliaan, Bijlee Bijlee, and Baarish Ki Jaaye. His YouTube channel was created on November 29, 2017.
