Jack Campbell is a professional ice hockey player born on January 9, 1992, in Port Huron, Michigan, USA. The goaltender started his hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League, playing for the Windsor Spitfires and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. He was selected in the first round (11th overall) by the Dallas Stars in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in 2013.
Jack played with the Los Angeles Kings as a backup for Jonathan Quick. He joined the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2020, emerging as an effective starting netminder. In 2022, he was named an NHL All-Star. He left Toronto after the 2021–22 season to sign with the Edmonton Oilers on July 13, 2022.
Jack has represented the United States at both junior and senior levels. During the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, he led the Americans to a victory over the Canadians in the gold medal game. He won the AHL's Calder Cup with the Texas Stars in 2014.
