Jack Conklin was born as Jonathan Jackson Conklin on Plainwell, Michigan on August 17, 1994. He was the eighth overall pick of the Tennessee Titans in the 2016 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the team. He was the first draft pick by Jon Robinson. During his rookie year, he was named first-team All-Pro at right tackle.
He went to Plainwell High School in Michigan and then to Michigan State University in college. He was redshirted on his first year and played in 13 out of 14 games as a rookie. He was in the first-team All- American in 2015 and the first-team All-Big Ten. He decided to leave after his junior year and became a professional football player. Conklin suffered from an injury in 2018 but he was able to play again in the same year.
