James Andrew Innes Dee, better known as Jack Dee, is an English actor, comedian, and presenter best known for his work in film, television, and stand-up comedy. He was born in Kent, England, on September 24, 1961.
Jack began his comedy career in the late 1980s, and in the decade that followed, he performed many sold-out comedy shows at locations like the Hammersmith Apollo and London Palladium. He began his acting career soon after, and he has since had recurring roles in the TV series Josh, Kingdom, Jack and Jeremy's Real Lives, Bad Move, and Lead Balloon, which also featured Raquel Cassidy, Sean Power, Anna Crilly, and Antonia Campbell-Hughes. Jack’s filmography includes Huge, Short Order, Londinium, Spivs, The Last Drop, and Fourplay.
He received a BAFTA nomination for Best Entertainment Performance and a Royal Television Society nomination for Best Scripted Comedy.
