Jack Alexander Huston is a British actor and was born on December 7th, 1982 in London, England. His father was American and his mother English, which grants him a dual U.K. and U.S. citizenship. He was raised in England. He is the great-grandson of one of the premier American character actors on stage and screen in the 1930s and '40s Walter Huston.
While he was a teen Jack attended the Academy Awards with his famous aunty, Anjelica Huston. He spent time acting on the London stage before he got his first on-screen debut in Spartacus, the 2004 movie. Jack starred in Neighborhood Watch before he filmed Outlander (2008) with James Caviezel and Sophia Myles. He also appeared in the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse, where he played Royce King II.
As an actor, he is well known for Kill Your Darlings (2013), American Hustle (2013), and Ben-Hur (2016). He won two (Screen Actors Guild Awards-Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: Nominated and Screen Actors Guild Awards-Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture: Winner) awards in 2013. And another two (Screen Actors Guild Awards-Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: Nominated and Screen Actors Guild Awards-Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: Winner) in 2012.
