Jackal Bio
Jackal is the stage name of the English DJ and producer Mikey Pennington. He is currently located in Los Angeles, California. Pennington had a love for music from a young age and at 7 years old he started making beats on his keyboard. He started producing music at 19 years old while studying music at the University of Canterbury. In 2013 he became well known after the release of his popular single “Shakedown.” He has released a number of other singles, including “In Love With Nobody”, “Don’t Come New Me I Am A Monster”, “Only Regret”, “She Ruins”, “Empathy”, “With You”, “Feel It”, “Ice”, and others. In 2014 he went on tour in Australia, then his first North American tour opening for DJ Jazzy Jeff on the Mind Machine Tour.
