Born in November 27, 1980, Jackie Greene came from Salinas, California. He plays roots rock, blues, and Americana music. He worked in local clubs and bars before being discovered by the owner of Dig Music label. As an artist, Jackie Greene is a multi-instrumentalist that plays guitar, piano, drums, keyboards, harmonica, banjo, and mandolin. He played those instruments for his debut record entitled “Gone Wanderin’.”
By fall of 2002, Greene went on college tours. In 2003, his album “Rusty Nails” was released under Dig Music, then had a follow-up DVD “Broken Hearts Dusty Roads” by 2004. From 2005 to 2015, he released five albums for different labels. The last one was entitled “Back to Birth” under Yep Roc label, released in 2015.
