Jacquelyn Ellen Smith, better known as Jaclyn Smith, is an American actress, producer, and businesswoman best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Houston, Texas, the United States on October 26, 1945. Jaclyn appeared in numerous TV commercials in the late 1960s, but she began her acting career in the early 1970s with appearances in the films The Adventurers, Probe, and Bootleggers. She has been a regular on the TV shows George Washington, Christine Cromwell, and The District, but she is best known for starring in the action-crime series Charlie's Angels alongside Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Cheryl Ladd, and David Doyle. Her filmography includes Rage of Angels, The Night They Saved Christmas, Kaleidoscope, Cries Unheard: The Donna Yaklich Story, and Navigating the Heart. Jaclyn received a Golden Globes nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television.
