Jacob Koopman Bio
Jacob Koopman is a songwriter and singer from the Island of Bali, Indonesia. He learned how to play guitar, drums and bass at an early age and formed his first musical group at the age of 13. He moved to Ireland, where he started busking in the streets of Ireland. He has since composed nine original songs, including ‘I’m not ready,’ ‘weight of the wave’, and ‘anchor.’ He has appeared on the YouTube Channel, Dublin City Today, over 150 times.
He has been hosting an original show called ‘Chats and Tunes’ since May 2020, uploading more than 56 videos on YouTube. Koopman is well-known for his excellent guitar skills and amazing vocals that have been compared to that of Theo Katzman and Fineas. One of his videos, which is a cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’, has more than one million views.
