Jade Ewen Bio

Jade Ewen, born Jade Louise Ewen on January 24th, 1988 in London, England is an English singer, songwriter, actress that began her musical career as part of a girl group called Sugababes. Jade began to sing and dance at the age of four and played Nala in the stage production of The Lion King at the age of 10.

In 2005 Jade joined the girl group Trinity Stone. The group was signed to the label Sony BMG, but disbanded in 2007. In 2008 Jade released the single “Got You” with rapper Kwame. In 2009 she was selected to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song contest with her rendition of the song “It’s My Time.” In the same year, Jade joined the group Sugababes. She also debuted her solo single, “My Man,” in the same week. The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 35.
