Jaheim Hoagland is a R&B artist from New Brunswick, New Jersey who hails from a musical family. His grandfather, Victor Hoagland, was an artist who sang with popular group The Drifters, and is cited as being Jaheim’s biggest musical influence. At only 15, Jaheim managed to win the Apollo Theater’s talent show three times.
Jaheim released his first studio album, Ghetto Love, under Divine Mill Label. The album reached #9 on the Billboard Charts, with the single “Could It Be,” reaching #3 on the R&B/Hip Hop chart. His second album, Still Ghetto, was another top ten charter, but it was Jaheim’s third album, Ghetto Classics, which would be his first chart topper.
After Ghetto Classics, Jaheim went on to release three more top ten charting albums – Making of A Man (2007), Another Road (2010), and Appreciation Day (2013). In 2016, he released his seventh full-length studio album, Struggle Love.
