Jake McDorman is an American actor who was born on July 8, 1986, in Dallas, Texas. He studied acting at the Young Actors Studio & Performing Arts Center in Dallas and when he turned 17 years old, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. McDorman debuted in film in 2005, when he landed the role of Dave in “Echoes of Innocence”, and then landed roles in “Aquamarine”, “Live Free or Die Hard”, and “American Sniper”. In television, he starred in “Quintuplets” as Parker Chase from 2004 to 2005, for a total amount of 22 episodes, and continued to guest-star on “CSI: Miami”, “Cold Case” and “House”. His most known roles are Alan Shepard in National Geographic’s “The Right Stuff” and Nelson Gardner in 2019 “Watchmen”. He was also cast for Fox’s TV series “What We Do in the Shadows”, “Lady Bird” and “Limitless”.
