Jake Scott Bio

Jake Scott is an American singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. He enrolled and graduated from the University of Arkansas. Jake later moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to pursue his dreams.

Jake dropped his debut EP Of Life and Longing when he was in college and the EP peaked at #4 on the singer-songwriter charts and was also featured in the #4 slot on the Billboard Heat-Seekers chart. He later collaborated with Grammy-award–winning songwriter and producer David Hodges to issue his follow-up Silhouettes and Sand. The release reached #2 on iTunes’ singer-songwriter charts. He has written music for artists like Jason Mraz, Christina Perri, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen and Sara Evans. He even co-wrote Aloe Blacc’s Brooklyn In The Summer. In 2018, he decided to collaborate with famous songwriters like Steve Solomon (James Arthur), Josh Kerr (Kelsea Ballerini) and David Hodges to release one song a month for his fans. First to appear was Tuesdays.
