Jalen N’Gonda Bio
Jalen N’Gonda is a singer-songwriter from Maryland, USA. He decided to move to Liverpool, UK in 2014 to start his career as a musician. He started studying music at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA).
Since 2015, Jalen has played gigs all around Liverpool, drawing people into his own world with his voice and songs. Jalen released his debut album in 2017 called Talkin about Mary. One of the singles on this album Don’t you remember premiered on The405, an online magazine in London.
Jalen describes his music as R&B and Soul, and his music is something between The Beach Boys and The Beatles. He has also been an opening singer for Laura Mvula and Ms. Lauryn Hill. Jalen was also able to perform on his own in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. All of these concerts were sold out.
