Jamal Murray Bio
Jamal Murray is a Canadian professional basketball player who plays as a point guard and shooting guard in the NBA. He was born in Kitchener, Ontario, on February 23, 1997. Jamal spent his formative years playing for Grand River Collegiate Institute and the University of Kentucky, and he turned professional in 2016 when he was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA Draft. Throughout his time with the Denver Nuggets, Jamal played alongside Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Nah’Shon Hyland, Demarcus Cousins, and Facundo Campazzo. While representing Canada, Jamal won a silver medal at the 2015 Toronto Pan American Games and bronze at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship. His career highlights include NBA All-Rookie Second Team, First-team All-SEC, and BioSteel All-Canadian MVP.
